Who We Are
Rocky Mountain Biomed is a Colorado based biomedical service company built on a simple idea: dependable, high quality service should be the standard. We exist to help healthcare teams maintain safe, reliable equipment through expert maintenance, responsive support, and documentation you can count on. Our work is guided by integrity, a commitment to long term relationships, and a belief in doing things right the first time.
Who We Serve
We serve clinics, ASCs, and hospitals with preventive maintenance, repairs, and service programs tailored to your environment. What makes RMB different is our Instant On Site Reporting. Every visit ends with a complete service record delivered before we leave—so your team is audit ready the same day. Leaders get immediate visibility into asset status, compliance notes, and follow ups without chasing paperwork.
As a local partner, we value clear communication and flexibility. We coordinate downtime windows, adhere to facility policies, and align with your infection control, safety, and documentation requirements. For multi site systems, we help standardize templates, synchronize PM schedules, and provide consolidated summaries that make planning easier.
Setting the Bar Higher
RMB was founded to set a higher bar in service transparency and trust. If that resonates with you, we’re ready to earn your business—one well documented visit at a time.

Founder & Lead Biomedical Technician
CBET, CHTM | U.S. Military Veteran | Biomedical Engineer Since 2007
Jonathan Howell is the founder of Rocky Mountain Biomed, a company built on the belief that dependable, high-quality biomedical service should be the standard—not the exception. With nearly two decades of experience in the field, Jonathan has held leadership roles at HSS, LE3 Engineering Services, and Mountain States Biomedical Services, where he helped shape the company from its early days. He holds CBET and CHTM certifications, has served on the CABMET board, and has a strong foundation in both Business and Information Technology.
After years of witnessing the pitfalls of corporate shortcuts, Jonathan launched Rocky Mountain Biomed with a clear mission: to do things right the first time. His approach is rooted in integrity, responsive support, and long-term relationships with healthcare providers. RMB’s signature offering—instant on-site reporting—reflects his commitment to transparency and excellence.
Jonathan’s work is deeply personal. His daughter Kasey, a talented artist and teacher, designed the RMB logo. His son Jackson, a history buff and future leader, inspires him to build a legacy worth passing on. His wife Abbey, a world traveler and his partner in life and business—offering support, insight, and the occasional reminder to slow down and enjoy the journey.
Whether he’s calibrating a dialysis machine, mentoring a new tech, or cheering on the Denver Broncos, Jonathan brings the same values to everything he does: trust, precision, and purpose.
